🧡💙 Lady Tigers Game Summary 💙🧡

Last night, the Lady Tigers battled the Aucilla Warriors in the District Semi-Final and left everything on the court. This was a true team effort, with our defense setting the tone and seven different players contributing on the scoreboard. The girls played with heart, hustle, and determination from start to finish.
Despite the strong performance, we came up just short in a tough 33–35 loss.

🏆 Player of the Game: #2 London Hall
London stepped up in a big way, leading with energy, effort, and leadership. Her play on both ends of the floor kept us in the game and inspired her teammates throughout the night. She finished with 8 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Last night, the Lady Tigers took on the Wewahitchka Gators in the first round of district play. This group brought relentless defensive energy, finishing with an incredible 46 total steals. That effort paid off as the Lady Tigers secured a playoff win and advanced to the next round of the district tournament!

Tonight the Lady Tigers WON their final regular season game against Wakulla Christian! Your Lady Tigers showed up and showed out with 7 of 9 players scoring. The girls played with intensity, teamwork, and heart on both ends of the floor, turning defense into offense and controlling the glass all night.

Final Score: Lady Tigers 48 — Wakulla Christian 18

Faith owned the paint with an incredible 21 rebounds, plus 4 points and 3 steals. Her effort, toughness, and leadership set the tone for the entire team. When Faith is crashing the boards like that, we are tough to beat. Proud is an understatement! 💪🔥

On Tuesday, January 27, the Lady Tigers took on Taylor County. This group refused to quit, battling all the way to the final buzzer. The Lady Tigers cut a 26-point deficit down to 16 and locked in defensively, holding the Bulldogs to ZERO points in the fourth quarter. That effort and heart says a lot about this team.

Jakeria led the team on both ends of the court, finishing with 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 steals. She dominated defensively and played with relentless energy all game long. Last night, the Lady Tigers battled the Liberty County Bulldogs in a hard-fought matchup. Our defense showed up in a BIG way—holding Liberty County to ZERO points in the third quarter 👏🔥. The hustle, heart, and perseverance from this group was on full display, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort.

Senior captains Faith Steen and Hope Steen led by example in a strong all-around performance. The duo combined for 25 points while setting the tone with their hustle and defensive intensity.
