Rooster Creek, as an event site, was born when Willow Pond was booked solid with weddings every spring. Covid changed all of that so now we are refocusing Rooster Creek to provide a venue for families, small or large, to enjoy an afternoon or two in the outdoors. At present, we have five full service RV sites (pull through), loads of tent space, creeks, trails, fishponds and tons of shade. The convenience of being near town and the relaxed atmosphere of the country... Rooster Creek. We have a 4400 square foot pavilion, acres of shaded space, ponds, creeks, trails and a super rate. May 18 was our first "wedding ceremony and reception" at Rooster Creek. For several months, the couple met with us weekly to make suggestions, give us encouragement and make us feel that they appreciated the extra effort for an early opening. One morning the groom's Mom brought a sausage biscuit to the help and jumped in with special touches to the restrooms... On the day of, the bride and her Dad arrived in a vintage car, complete with owner chauffeur. A live band was set up among the trees, which happened to be connected to other trees with strings lights, a special request from the bride.

Rooster Creek is now accepting reservations for the fall of 2013. Originally intended to be the overflow for the Carriage Moon Cafe, Rooster Creek has assumed an identity of its' own. Guests in the 5000 square foot pavilion may enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding grounds and allow activities to spill over to the nearby creek, canopied sittings areas and the wooded south side.
Rooster Creek is also ideal for rehearsal dinners or other parties preceding a Willow Pond wedding.
