Here is the schedule for the Brainerd Scrimmage tomorrow. We will have a pancake breakfast at the stadium at 7:15. Bus leaves at 8:15. All 10th-12th grade players are going. A few 9th graders have also been asked. Players need a black tshirt, a white tshirt, water bottle, cleats, and shin guards. Should be a great day!

Update: For the rest of THIS week (Tuesday-Thursday), open field practices will be on the JV grass field. Next week, we will be back on the turf for all four days.

Continue to bring a soccer ball, cleats, and plenty of water! It was good to see so many of you yesterday. We are strongly encouraging all players in grades 8-12 to attend as many sessions as possible!

Open field practices start tonight! They will be from 5-6:30 at the stadium, Monday-Thursday for this week and next. Bring cleats, a ball, and plenty of water. A coach will be present, but they are not allowed to do any coaching or be on the field. Our senior class will be running these sessions.
Reminder: we are now an 8-12 program. Use these next two weeks to get to know one another and welcome our younger players into the mix!

2025 Important Dates and Info

-Open Field (led by Seniors): July 28-31 and Aug 4-7 (Mon-Thurs) from 5:00-6:30 pm at Stadium. Grades 8-12 are strongly encouraged to attend!
-Fall Sports Meeting: Monday, August 4th. Time TBD.
-Official start of season: Monday, August 11th. First two weeks go from 3-5:30 at the stadium.
-Brainerd Scrimmage: Saturday, August 16th. The scrimmage will be for players who trying out for the JV and Varsity teams. JVII players will not attend (this will be shared at Thursday’s practice).
-Please make sure you are registered and have a current physical on file before the first day of practice. We only have a one week tryout, so missing any of week 1 will hurt your chances of making the team you are hoping to be on.

Feel free to email me with questions. Spread the word! This year we will be an 8-12 program, so incoming 8th graders should plan to take part in all of these events. So excited for this season!

If you haven’t been out to watch a Monti soccer game yet, make sure you attend this one! Such a great group of Seniors. They deserve to have a loud stadium on their night. PLEASE come and watch them play. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Spread the word, and let’s pack the stands for these young men.
