Trying to finalize hole 17. Asking for feedback.
Being hole 17, I didn't want two easy layups to play for par. It's a 408' par 3 from long and 274' from short and may have a middle tee at around 315'.
OB along left side is confirmed as it is a fence. Originally there was to be OB from tree to tree on the right for two reasons. It separates 17 and 18 fairways and it adds challenge to an open shot.
However, there's no incentive to go for the green if all you need is a par to secure a lead going into 18.
This is why I would like the green to be an island with anything short but inbounds played as hazard. But my question is, should there still be OB on the right or should it play as hazard?

Engineering and manufacturing has a term called "stacking tolerance".
I think it applies to disc golf in this way.
Say you have a hole that you can birdie 50% of the time. You take a par. Then you come up to a hole you can birdie 80% of the time. The 20% happens instead.
You're even instead of -2. This can happen on every hole. As long as your birdie % is less than 100%, every hole can go the other way no matter how good you are. As we say in the hood; sometimes it bes like that.

If I pad the pars on my course, will it bring more traffic? You know, for those casual players that like to shoot -15.

Resident puppies will grow up on a disc golf course. Wish I was that lucky.
