7 YEARS STRONG. ❤️💪

Seven years ago this month, we opened the doors to Wayne County Fitness right here in Monticello, Kentucky.

And honestly… when we started, I don’t think we could have imagined everything these seven years would bring. 🥹

This gym has become so much more than a place to work out. It has become a place where people come when they’re ready to make a change, chase a goal, start over, get stronger, or sometimes just have somewhere to go where they feel welcome.

We’ve watched people walk through our doors nervous and unsure, and then watched them grow stronger, gain confidence, reach goals they once thought were impossible, and become part of something bigger than themselves.

A COMMUNITY. ❤️

And we couldn’t talk about seven years without saying one of the things we are MOST proud of this year…

🖤 IN MEMORY OF ROBERT “DOB” LEWIS LOWE 🖤

Today, Wayne County Fitness would like to share a special memorial workout created in honor of Robert “Dob” Lewis Lowe, who passed away August 25, 2026, at just 30 years old.

“For those who can’t.” 🇺🇸

This workout was created by Endure Mindset as a way to honor Dob’s life, his strength, and the people who loved him. We wanted to share it here because the fitness community is about so much more than workouts and numbers on a clock. It’s about people. It’s about community. It’s about showing up for one another.

Dob was a husband, father, son, brother, friend, and U.S. Army veteran. He loved his family deeply and will be missed by so many.

We also want to recognize Endure Mindset for putting together this meaningful workout and giving others a way to honor Dob through something that brings people together—movement, strength, and community.

To the family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved Dob, our hearts are with you. ❤️

If you have the opportunity, we encourage our Wayne County Fitness family to share this workout, support Endure Mindset, and help keep Dob’s memory alive.

A Little Introduction!

For those who may not know him yet, this is Daniel, Whitney’s son! 😊

Daniel is a junior this year and is co-oping for school. He’ll be helping out at the gym and will be closing the gym Monday–Friday throughout the week. 💪🏼

If you need any help or assistance while you’re at the gym, just let Daniel know! He’ll be happy to help however he can. 😊

Meet Corienna! 💕 Here’s a little bit about her in her own words:

“Hi, my name is Corienna. I’m a mom to a 2-year-old little boy who is my entire world. I am currently on a fitness journey, and I use working out as an outlet to pour into myself outside of motherhood and being a business owner. XOXO 💕”

And THIS is exactly why we love our members at Wayne County Fitness.

Fitness isn’t just about losing weight, lifting heavier, or changing the way you look. Sometimes it’s about finding a little time for YOU in the middle of being a mom, running a business, taking care of everyone else, and handling everything life throws your way.

Corienna, we are SO proud of you for making yourself a priority and finding an outlet that helps you feel stronger, inside and out. 💪🏼❤️ Keep showing up, keep pushing yourself, and remember that the time you pour into yourself is never selfish.

“I love the atmosphere and the newly added Pilates class.

I love any age to use strength training to support my cycling.

Coming to the gym supports my mind and helps me show up better for my kids.”
