Hello! Hope you all had a wonderful summer and if you joined us in our Golf outing this August or visited us at Homecoming in July, thank you again!

As the high School athletes are about to begin the 2026/2027 sports seasons, our Monticello Sports Boosters Club is looking forward to the school year and hoping to continue growing our organization! At our September 14th meeting in the school Library at 6:15, we will hold our yearly elections and will have the following board positions that will be filled:

*President
*Vice President
*Secretary
*Treasurers

The Monticello Sports Booster Club is an organization of parents and community members who support the athletic programs of the Monticello School District. The purpose of the club is to raise funds to offer financial support that may not be available to our athletic programs and sports related projects in our High School that help our athletes excel with training and play.

To name just some of the many highlights of donations from the Sports Boosters over the years:

-$1200 per year for Senior Scholarships
- Uniforms and helmets for our football team
- New golf bags, wiffle balls and practice mats for our golf team
-$15,000 for a new scoreboard and championship sign at the updated softball field
- Materials for new Baseball dugouts
- Dr. Dish Basketball shooting machines for both teams
- Locking basketball racks and new basketballs for the Girls and Boys basketball teams
- High jump mat and starting blocks for our track team
- Contribution towards uniforms and new balls, helmets and equipment for girls Softball team
- New volleyball nets for our Volleyball team
- AU weight training program for summer skills building
- Hudle game recording, broadcasting and analysis program
- Sports Calendar posters
- State tournament travel support
- Yearly contributions to each of our sports programs
- The Monticello school weight room for all students and athletes to train in

In order to keep this great organization going and continued funding support, we need new members to join! Most of our current members no longer have children in sports or in high school and need new members to eventually pass the torch onto.

The Monticello Sports Boosters are looking for enthusiastic family or community members to get involved and help lead our organization!
No experience required, Just a willingness to help the sports programs.

Usual meeting dates are the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:15 at the school, but does adjust occasionally based off of school sporting and life events.

It's starting to feel like it is back to school time 🙂 Here's the first Pony Report of 2026/27!

Pony football will be playing a JV schedule this year, but home game day will have the same fun and admission if FREE for everyone! They opened their season last Thursday at home falling to Wonewoc-Center 22-0. They have a quick turn around and will play at home on Tuesday at 5pm vs Abundant Life/St. Ambrose.
Varsity volleyball will open their season playing at the Six Rivers Tournament in Argyle on Saturday
NGM cross country continues their early season interteam runs with their annual bagel run on Saturday at the Kubly Prairie in New Glarus

Football and Volleyball seasons are upon us!
Please help us continue to fundraise for our programs by signing up for a 50/50 sales shift!

Our next meeting is Monday Sept 14th at the school library at 6:15 if you’d like to join the booster club! The more the merrier, we need new members to keep the club going for years to come!

The 6th Annual Booster Club Golf outing yesterday was filled with fun, lots of laughter and great weather (tho a little warm until that breeze kicked in!).
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible from our golfers to sponsors to the business partners who worked the holes!
We had a beautiful day and raised a lot of funds for our High School Sports programs and athletes! A million thank you's to the team at Yellowstone Golf Course for helping things go smooth year after year!

Thank you to every golfer who took time from their work and regular schedules to join us this year. This year we had 36 teams join us! Without you all there is no fundraiser…. a million thank you’s for that!
