I have really enjoyed putting some rides and helping install some buttons on this sweet 4yr old OTTB mare. It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure to work with baby brains, I’ve really missed it and it hit me how much I really enjoy it. 💖

It’s been a busy but super productive morning! Got three rides in before 10am. Tune-Up for Gertie, first time on 4yr old OTTB Saturn installing some basic buttons, and schooling ride on Christopher. Everyone was absolutely fantastic 💖 I love what I do. Lessons the rest of the week. Hoping to start Gertie back over fences this week too.

Birthday week starts now!

It’s been a tough few months with Gertie’s injury and rehab, Jay’s EPM diagnosis, Christopher’s injury, having to cancel lessons, and not having the time for poor Coco… everyone is much better and back to work! Lessons started back last week 😅

I don’t post much bc, well, I’m usually too busy.

In the meantime, so many projects at the barn have been completed and more starting. My happy place is making me even more happy, especially with the horses’s health and well being so much better 🥰

Yeah hi, long time no post (as usual). Today I had Randal be my test dummy with Coco.

Coco is a 24ish QH mare with bad anxiety under saddle. I’ve her for about 6 years and she’s come such a long way. She’s only had me on her in that time and since she’s been doing so well, I wanted to see how she’d do with someone who weighs more than my little 108lbs. He adores and spoils her, so I put him up. She did incredibly well and I’m so very proud of her progress. She gave me a few little almost crow hops but calmed down quickly.

Well, she may not ever be a great lesson horse for my regular students, she will do well for my more advanced ones. Looking forward towards a wonderful future with her 💖
