On a beautiful Saturday Afternoon Assistant Golf Professional Andy Gaines lead a group of young players in the 2nd Inter club Event. Players from Woodforest Golf Club played against a team from Walden on Lake Conroe. The teams played a modified 6 hole scramble
Players aged 6-13 displayed honor, courage and commitment to our great game of golf. These young players persevered through golf’s challenges with the #1 rule in mind: HAVE FUN! We at Woodforest are extremely proud of each of them.
These events are a part of the continuing junior programs at Woodforest Golf Club. Head professional Jon Baacke, 1st Assistant Adam Kraus along with Professionals Andy Gaines & Kaity Cummings now work with well over 200 Junior Golfers. This is the largest group of junior golfers anywhere in Houston and compares to groups throughout the United States.
