Big basketball day today!!
3 out 4 CHAMPIONSHIPS won‼️
Our JV girls basketball team defended our home court to win our 6th straight JV CCC CHAMPIONSHIP‼️ They defeated MA in the semi-finals, 37-30. Then, beat Catholic in the championship, 55-24. Kaden Fair was named tournament MVP. Elliette Barton, Londyn Swain, and Molly Phillips were named to the All Tournament Team! Congrats to Coach Johnathan Lilly and team.
Our middle school girls basketball team went undefeated this season and won our 4th straight CCC MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP!! They defeated ACA in the semi-finals, 46-23. Then, beat Trinity in the championship, 37-33. Kennedy Dunson was named tournament MVP. Holland McKenzie and Stella Williams were named to the All Tournament Team! Congrats to Coach Theresa Straughn, Coach Sherard Graham, and team.
Our middle school boys basketball team battled today to bring home the CCC MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP!! They defeated Trinity in the semi-final game. Then, beat MA, 37-36, in the championship. Caleb Ellis stepped to the free throw line with the score tied 36-36. His free throw sealed the win in the final seconds. Jordan Williams was named tournament MVP. Caleb Ellis, Will Blackwell, and Carson Crum were named to the All Tournament Team! Congrats to Coach DT Mayes and team!
