Clean sweep on night 1 of the Madtown Showdown! Started P4 in the heat and made a last corner pass for the win. Started on the point in the feature and never looked back!
Not bad considering we are missing the crew chief (dad) this weekend as he is on vacation. After losing my grandma this past week, it feels good to pick up the W!
This Ford by Worx powered Longhorn was on rails all night!

We have been a little quiet on the racing end of things with so much family and kids events going on. We are getting close to done on the car. Dad has put a ton of work into the new power plant. We finished it up and got to put it on the dyno this past Saturday! We are hoping to race Friday at I-94 but we will have to see if some additional parts arrive on time and we can get it finished up. Either way we will be on track very soon!

With Madison canceling tonight because of the excessive heat, we are now the 2023 Madison Speedway Daytona 1 Performance Lubricants Gen X Late models track champion! We had enough points going into the night that all we had to do was sign into the gate but it would of been great to race tonight, even in the heat.
I have tried on and off over the last 23 years of racing to get a track championship and we finally got one! It may not mean a lot to others, but it sure does to us! I can’t thank my family, crew, and sponsors enough that have stuck with me through the years!

The 2016 race season has come to a close for most everyone in Wissota. Although we have been done for about a month now, I am already missing it. I would like to thank everyone that has helped me throughout the year. Stats wise we had a pretty good year, we had multiple heat race wins and many top 5 feature finishes. We ended up finishing 2nd in points at Fiesta City Speedway in Monte and 8th at Viking Speedway in Alex even though we missed a few nights. I couldn't do what I do without the support of my awesome family, sponsors and crew.
Matt and Daniella Schroeder, without them none of it would be possible, enough said!!
Tasha Kling, even though she is new to this she has given me complete support and even learned a bit along the way. Her support for me to do what I love is amazing even during the worst of nights, she keeps me going even when I want to just give up.
My kids, they are always there to help unload and wash the car as well as help with tires...as long as I provide snacks!
Kurt Rhode, one of the hardest working crew guys in the pits. Without him I don't think we would of made it for the first few nights!
Phillip Makela, another one of the hardest working crew guys out there. Even though hes busy actually working some nights!
Lori Gilbertson, one of my biggest cheerleaders and always supports me!

Hard to believe the race season is starting to wind down. We finished up the season at Fiesta City speedway on Friday night and ended up in a tie for 2nd place in season points, which we are pretty happy with considering we were 30+ points behind 2nd due to a feature race we were unable to start. Congrats to Corey Nelson on yet another points championship and great season! Alex finished up their season points as well this weekend and we ended up 8th in points but we missed a few nights over the season. Now onto a couple of the big end of year shows!
