For my local friends who use bar soap…I am in need of slivers. When your bars get down to about 1/8 inch, I can use them to trace my patterns onto the materials I use to make & alter suits. With the suit being used in the water, they will get washed off. I am down to very small pieces needing to retire into liquid soap and be replaced. xo

WORLD SEA TURTLE DAY! Let’s raise awareness for these fantastic creatures who have been around for 110 million years!

These ancient species include hawksbill, leatherback, green, and loggerhead. It takes up to 30 years for a sea turtle to reach maturity and they can live for up to 100 years, with a female returning to the beach where she was born to lay her eggs. Their diet includes algae, seagrass, squid, jellyfish, and fish, depending on the species.

Threats to their survival include habitat destruction, being taken for their meat/eggs, and pollution. Turtles are also caught in fishing nets as bycatch, which poses a significant threat to their populations.

To help turtles and all sea life, please consider fish free alternatives and share to raise awareness of their plight.

My dear customers, please bare with me. I somehow injured myself a few weeks ago. After thinking it was muscular, a CT scan was ordered as the pain is now unbearable with movement. Still working but with caution. xo
