Angie Scarlett gained her athletic and team skills as a high school soccer player and NCAA Division 1 Rower in crew, where she also learned power lifting. She majored in Biology/Psychology/Marine Science, 2 of the 3 which come in very handy in training individuals. Also in college, she trained with ROTC in preparation for active duty US Army officer service. Lessons learned were physical fitness (especially leading it and running🏃🏼♀️), fortitude, selfless service and humility. NC was a beautiful state to pick up a passion for mountain biking (and raced), rock climbing, and hiking, as well as dancing—Latin, Country and Swing. She served a season as a white-water river raft & kayak guide before she was blessed to move to the Monterey Peninsula. She had a life chapter of being a firefighter wife, building a mountaintop ranch home, and raising two awesome sons to adulthood. She briefly applied the Marine Bio to save the ocean, but it wasn’t long before she missed being active and being a leader. Since ‘07 she’s been a pro guide again by boat, board, bike, foot and horseback, a mountain bike and running coach, since ‘09 a boot camp and other small group training coach, a group exercise instructor of every style from yoga to HIIT, since ‘12 a personal trainer from athletes to rehabilitating, from young children to my active-aging 80s and 90s clients, and since ‘18 caring/walking dogs. She still loves mountain biking 🚵🏻♀️ , hiking 🥾 , kayaking 🦦 and dancing 💃🏽 in her free time. Pets and plants are her therapy. Nature is her sanctuary. Angie is an excellent option to consider to successfully. Let’s go, Monterey Peninsula, get on your health and fitness track with Angie.
