✨ Hardworking Youth Spotlight ✨

Our custom shinai bag was a huge hit for this lovely kenshi!
Recently, she entered a full Cinnamoroll phase💙 and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Her original shinai bag had been well loved, completely worn out, with even a hole at the bottom. It was definitely time for an upgrade.
As her dojo’s MVP award, she received a brand new custom shinai bag from MATSU BUDOGU. The moment she opened her gift, she went crazy happy, running around the dojo with the biggest smile. 🤩✨
She was grateful not just to receive a new shinai bag, but her favorite character shinai bag, made just for her.
Wishing her continued growth on her kendo journey, and hoping that one day, she will stand proudly as a champion. 🙏🏻🔥

We’re excited to deliver this beautiful custom iaito to one of our customers!🙌🏻
They’re new to iaido and reached out to us based on their sensei’s recommendation. The request included custom menuki and a white tsuka, and after several revisions, the iaito was completed in about 2.5 months.👍🏻
We’re happy to hear it arrived safely and that they were satisfied with the feel. ✨

2025 SCKF IAIDO SEMINAR & SHINSA🍁

Halloween is just around the corner, and SoCal brought us a gloomy weekend to match the season! 🎃🍂
A huge thank you to the SCKF Iaido Committee for the invitation. This weekend’s seminar was led by Konno Tatsuhiko Sensei from Seattle (Kyoshi 7-Dan), with support from many other Iaido sensei. Saturday’s training was hosted at Venice Dojo, and Sunday took place at Norwalk Dojo.
Congratulations to everyone who passed the Shinsa! 👏

Our pop-up shop will be at upcoming OC Japan Fair✨

We are excited to announce that we will be offering a wide range of non-budogu products at our pop-up shop during the OC Fair ground 2025. Our selection will primarily consist of Japanese merchandise, including Noren, Geta, tabi socks, Jinbei, Samuei, aprons, T-shirts, anime goods, furoshiki, and much more! Make sure to mark your calendar for this fantastic event, as it is one of the largest Japanese festivals in Southern California. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
