Well it’s been another roller coaster week!! Been in the hospital with Johnathon since Saturday so we decided to head to GSR Wednesday night to clear our heads and hopefully preserve our position in the championship at GSR Kartway.

Chase Goodman was on a mission to bring a win home for his brother and he did just that with a dominant performance despite another bad pill draw putting him on the outside for both heats!

Last words before the visor dropped were “Use your head and bring it home for Bubba!!”

Heat 1 - 4th 👉 3rd
Heat 2 - 4th 👉 🏁
Feature - 1st 👉 🏆

This was his 4th win in his Sportsman rookie season and we are back leading the championship!!

Now back at the hospital with Johnathon to help him get healed up and back on his feet!!

What a crazy couple weeks!! Sorry for the delayed update things have been crazy busy!!

Wednesday 7/29 at GSR Kartway was probably our worst performance of the year. We just couldn’t find any speed all night and finished 8th. Found that the valve lash was way off and our air filter was clogged up from the dusty track during hot laps. And the crew chief not getting tires right didn’t help.

Wednesday 8/5 after working on the kart all week Chase Goodmanbounced back with a good night finishing 2nd.

Next up is GSR again this Wednesday and we hope to bring home a win to extend his points lead. We think we have the kart back where it needs to be just hoping we get the tires right!!

Holy Hot Sauce it was a scorcher at University Plains Speedway for the Maxxis Midwest Series!! Highest bank and fastest track Chase Goodman has raced!!

We hopped on the struggle bus for practice and qualifying, didn’t matter what we changed we could not get away from 12.2 sec laps which was about a half second off the leaders! Well once Chase got in the features we quickly realized it was driver line keeping us at the 12.2 once he could see the fast line he was able to turn top 10 lap times.

Overall great learning experience. Chase found another track he loves and hopes to visit more for extra seat time. Dad learned not to panic on setup until Chase learns the track🤣

Chase Goodman parked it in victory lane for his 3rd win of the season 🏆 🏆 🏆!!! Nice birthday win even though it is a day late lol

Heat 1 6th to 4th
Heat 2 2nd to 3rd
Feature 3rd 🏁

We were not the fastest tonight but he drove his tail off and was turning consistent fast laps in the feature!!!

Next up is the 4th round of the Maxxis Midwest speedway series in Brookings South Dakota this Saturday
