This sport will humble you quickly!! To say it was an up and down weekend would be an understatement. We have a ton to learn about racing at this level. Both features tonight didn’t go very well we beat ourselves the first feature and Chase took a hard hit in the pro feature that shook him up but he was able to finish the race. Overall a good weekend we know we have speed in the kart just have to work on passing and getting passed at these speeds.

Jr2 pro feature didn’t go as well as we hoped however, we still took a lot of positives from today!! Chase Goodman was up to 2nd at one point but got spun in turn 3 which was a questionable call that didn’t go our way so he had to go to the back. Ended up 7th but he completed all laps for the day and has a fast hot rod! Turned the 3rd fastest lap of the race which was sub 10 seconds!! I can’t imagine the g force these kids are taking in the corners!! Very happy with the speed of the new tricon and the Laukaitis Racing power!!

Time to hit the reset button and try again tomorrow!!

Finally the wait is over!!!! Today is travel day for the Spring Thaw at Cedar Lake Arena Kart Racing!!! Chase Goodman will be ripping the new Phantom Racing Chassis tricon powered by Laukaitis Racing Inc for the first time this season.

We will be revealing the Dynamic designs wrap tomorrow at the track so stay tuned!!!
