After a storm forced dry spell. We at pac kayak marina once again has live shrimp. Come and get them. We open at 5:00 am.

Update on storm recovery. We are making great progress with everything. We are open to our customers , and friends. Limited on bait for another week or so. But we have bait shrimp, ice and tackle. As soon as the tanks are repaired we will have them full of live shrimp and minnows. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for being patient with us…

June the 8th is the wounded warrior fishing rodeo. And for the 6th year we at PAC Kayak Marina at Oak Pointe RV is honoured to be the host.
We are in need of a fish cleaning crew to help clean the fish the warriors catch.

From Mrs. Lisa, and I as well as everyone at PAC. We wanted to take the opportunity to thank 2 of the largest clubs in the state, for holding their event at our place. BCKFC and LKFC have always been like family to us. It was great to have all of our friends show up, fished, fellowshipped and ate. This needs to happen more often. Thanks also to Sean Rastanis for the great crawfish boil.

To all of our friends who love crabbing at the dams north of the marina. Please for the life of our crab, please don’t keep the virgin females. Please let them go and only keep the mature ones for your limit.
Hundreds of thousands of small virgin females are killed every year before being mature enough to lay eggs. You kill the small females you will eventually kill our crabbing. Save them for our children.
