Warning long post!
Today is the day! These girls worked hard to get here today! From the moment they are chosen to be on the team to where we are at now has been so much work and change.
Some of these girls have never cheered before and you can’t even tell now, girls that have been ineligible before have not once been ineligible, girls that are so shy and have some anxiety issues have now blossomed and flourished into some amazing student athletes! All the 5 AM practices, all the bumps, bruises, concussions and almost breaking bones and tearing ligaments.. yet they push through!
Cheer is a hard sport and it’s often overlooked, but I give so much praise and support and I hype these girls up so much and I will always have their back 100%!
in the state of Colorado. You don’t have to qualify to go to the state competition. Anyone can go, however I require these girls to hit a certain amount of points at previous competitions that we attend before the state competition and if they don’t hit those points, then I don’t take them to State. They make sure that they hit those points; so here we are at the Denver Coliseum competing in the 2A/3A Gameday State Championship against 35+ schools!
One of the coaches whom I truly admire his coaching and work ethic, and what he does with his Cherry Creek team, Ben Fuller, I’m gonna take his words and say “I’ve done all that I can do and now it’s up to them!”
You can watch these girls on the NFHS network; If you have the subscription. They will take the mat at 12:12 PM.
I won’t be able to post anything until it’s all done and over with so please send prayers and support for all the work that these girls have done!
Please send your support. Thank you.!
