Founded by Maya Milenovic and Reggie Workman, The Montclair Academy of Dance & Laboratory of Music & Drama, Inc.

is an arts platform that supports the development of students ages 3-18 through the interdisciplinary arts: music, dance, theatre, and video. The Montclair Academy of Dance and Laboratory of Music is a non-profit
Arts Center founded by Artistic Director Maya Milenovic Workman (interdisciplinary media artist and choreographer) and Executive Director Reggie Workman (Legendary Jazz Musician, educator

) in 1998. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of children, teens, and adults through the arts. We focus on creative development through dance, music, theater, and visual arts. Our teachers provide established dance and music techniques and strive for a developmentally appropriate and rewarding process for each student, with an emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and confidence. A partnership is cultivated between students and teachers to develop artistic movement, music and literacy skills, and individual creative expression.
