The girls escaped with a narrow victory in the second WMC Lakes tournament of the season. The Valley nine at Old Channel Trail Golf Club really showed its teeth today. The Wildcats have now won two conference events in a row.

Addi Smith and Brynlee Kessler took 2nd and 3rd overall. Marguerite O’Connell and Molly Mulder were 8th and 9th. Bella Bultema took 19th and Callie Peterson was 23rd.

The girls get a few days off before returning to conference play next Wednesday for the third WMC Lakes tournament of the season at White Lake.

It was a mixed bag of results for the girls today at the Whitehall Invitational, but even without everyone having their best day, the Wildcats still posted their lowest team score of the season and finished 3rd in a field of 11 teams!

Molly Mulder had a sensational round, tying her personal best with an 82 and finishing 3rd overall in a field of 65 golfers!

Brynlee Kessler finished just outside the top ten in 12th, Addi Smith and Marguerite O’Connell tied for 22nd, freshman Bella Bultema played in her first varsity event and posted an impressive 30th place finish, and Callie Peterson took 50th.

The girls have a quick turnaround and will look for a strong bounce back tomorrow as they host the second conference jamboree of the season at Old Channel Trail!

Conference play opened today for the Lakes Division of the West Michigan Conference, and the girls came away with a win at Stonegate!

🏅 7th – Brynlee Kessler
🏅 8th – Marguerite O’Connell
🎂 16th – Callie Peterson (Birthday!)

A great start to conference play for the Wildcats after a long week of travel!

The girls now get a few days to rest up before the Whitehall Invitational next Wednesday, followed by more conference play on Thursday.

The girls battled through Day 2 of the Lober Classic and moved up the leaderboard to finish 3rd overall out of 14 teams, including some big schools with great golf traditions. The Betsie Course lived up to its billing, providing an extremely difficult test for the entire field. It was a great two days competing on two beautiful but challenging golf courses at Crystal Mountain!

Addi Smith led the way, medaling in 10th place in a two day field of more than 80 golfers! 🏅 Marguerite O’Connell finished 17th, Brynlee Kessler 21st, and Molly Mulder 30th.

The girls have a quick turnaround as they open conference play tomorrow at Stonegate! ⛳️

After Day 1 of the Lober Classic at Crystal Mountain, the Wildcats sit in 4th place in a field of 15 teams, and just 2 shots out of second place!

The girls dropped 7 strokes from Friday’s season opener at Katke and showed some big improvements on a very difficult Mountain Ridge course.

Addi Smith tied her personal best with an 87, putting her in a tie for 9th place out of 95 golfers heading into Day 2. Marguerite O’Connell and Brynlee Kessler are close behind after both shooting 94, tied for 19th, while Molly Mulder sits in 34th.

Today was the Mountain Ridge course. Tomorrow, the girls head to Betsie Valley for Day 2 of the Lober Classic! ⛳️

The girls opened the 2026 season right where last season ended, at Katke Golf Course at Ferris State!

Now that we’re competing in Division 3, we got an early look at the D3 State Finals course and came away with a 2nd-place finish in a field of 20 teams!

Addi Smith led the way with an 89, finishing 9th overall in a field of more than 100 golfers, while Brynlee Kessler followed with a 91 to finish 11th. Both Addi and Brynlee earned individual medals! 🏅 Molly Mulder placed 16th and Marguerite O’Connell finished 31st.

The girls all agreed there’s plenty of room to improve, which makes a runner-up finish a pretty exciting way to start the season!

Next week brings another big test with a tough two-day tournament at Crystal Mountain before the Wildcats open conference play later in the week.

A great start for Team 11! ⛳️
