Doris-Dorie Miller Gun and Rifle Club Association Doris-Dorie Miller Gun and Rifle Club offers our members a safe, secure and friendly environment to learn about the fi****ms community.

The Doris (Dorie) Miller Gun and Rifle Club was founded on the principals and integrity of our namesake Dorie Miller. Dorie Miller was a Naval Sailor during WW11 serving aboard The USS West Virginia at Pearl Harbor when his ship was attacked by the Japanese Air Force. Before the West Virginia sunk, Dorie was up on the bridge and it was reported that he carried the ship’s captain (who was severely

wounded) to safety before he died. Dorie went to Mid-Ship’s and engaged the Japanese Fighters by firing one of the ship’s 50 caliber machine guns knocking out at least several fighter jets. Dorie was awarded the Navy Cross the first African American to ever be awarded such a medal.

DMGRC is developing a SIRT (Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger) Training Pistol Program for our members and potential members. This program will be utilizing the SIRT 110 (G***k) Pistol made by Next Level, and Shooter Get Ready Software and Equipment made and developed by Accelerated Firearm Training. DMGRC Members will be able to train indoors developing their handgun skills without purchasing costly ammunition. If you’re interested in learning more about training with the SIRT Pistol, please contact DMGRC.

Our Hearts and Prayers goes out to our Jewish Brothers and Sisters who lost loved ones today at The Tree of Life Synagoue in Pittsburgh, Pa. We personally know a number of members who attend The Tree of Life.

Another exciting opportunity is coming to Dorie Miller. In partnership with US LegalShield, we will provide a in depth seminar on the Legal Aspects of FireArm Ownership and navigating the Court System without the proper insurance. This seminar will cover the law (Pennsylvania) and how it relates to your ability to own, posses and carry your fi****ms legally. More information will be posted as we get closer to the scheduled date.
