All American Baseball currently serves (East - Trafford/Monroeville) 412-380-7000 Whether you are new to AABC or a seasoned veteran these programs consist of teaching fundamentals, speed & agility training, and proper muscle memory through tons and tons of repetition. All American Goals:

Ensure the success of our athletes through ongoing assessment of learning the different aspects of the game an

d overall effectiveness. Provide our athletes with opportunities, including personal lessons and clinics that enable success in competition and personal pursuits. Develop and enhance the relationships they build with teammates and coaches to help identify and respond to the needs of their future. Promote athletic development of our players through intense training. Guide and support the full development of our players for whatever they choose to do in the future. Assist our aspiring college bound players to get to the next level of competition. Emphasize the importance of maintaining a good education off the field as well as on.

Coach Spotlight!

Justin Wright began coaching with All American Baseball in 2025 coaching the 12u Blue team, and returning to coach the 13u White team in 2026. Growing up, Justin played with All American for 9 years, beginning at the age of 9 and playing all the way until his high school graduation at Hempfield Area High School.

During his time with All American, Justin was recruited to play division l baseball at St. John’s University. He would go on to finish his career locally at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. While at the division l level, Justin played with and against numerous players that are currently playing professional baseball, as well as getting to play against some of the best local division lll talent.

Being a 2-way player throughout his high school and college career, Justin brings a unique coaching perspective by offering both hitting and pitching expertise. Justin believes firmly in All American’s mission to develop collegiate athletes by offering high level year-round training.

Camp Spotlight!

Our September Hitting Academy is designed for players ages 6U–13U and will focus on building confidence, improving mechanics, and developing better at-bats through quality instruction and focused repetitions.

Players will also get the opportunity to use HitTrax and video analysis to track progress and make adjustments.

Coach Spotlight!

Bobby Thompson, a Blairsville, PA native, starred at Blairsville High School, earning three Indiana All-Gazette selections, All-Heritage Conference honors, and serving as captain of the 2013 PIAA District 6 Championship team.

After beginning his collegiate career at Saint Vincent College, Thompson transferred to Westmoreland County Community College, where he was named team MVP, First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Region, All-Region Tournament Team, and an All-Region Academic honoree. He finished his playing career at California University of Pennsylvania, earning PSAC Scholar-Athlete honors while contributing as both an outfielder and pitcher.

Thompson began his coaching career at California University of Pennsylvania before joining the Indiana University of Pennsylvania coaching staff, where he worked with hitters and outfielders and helped the program achieve one of the biggest single-season turnarounds in Division II baseball.

Now entering his fifth season with All American Baseball, Bobby specializes in hitting and outfield instruction. He lives in Delmont, PA with his wife, Julia.

Coach Spotlight!

Nick Lagnese joined All American in the fall of 2023 and has since worked with players of all ages, coaching multiple teams during one of his seasons with the organization. Making the transition from umpiring summer baseball at All American Park to coaching for them has been one of the best decisions he has ever made. The relationships built with fellow coaches, families, and, most importantly, the players are what make the experience so rewarding and continue to motivate him every day.

Growing up, Nick spent much of his childhood playing travel baseball, which helped shape his love for the game and taught him valuable lessons both on and off the field. That experience inspired his desire to give back to the game that gave him so much. As a coach, he is passionate about helping the next generation develop into not only better baseball players, but also better people, while providing them with the tools and guidance to succeed in all aspects of life.

Prior to joining All American, Nick played baseball at Norwin High School, where he earned a varsity letter. He continued his baseball career at Mount Aloysius College, joining the program as a pitcher in 2018. His playing experience, combined with his passion for teaching the game, allows him to connect with players and support their growth both on and off the field.

Team All American Coach Spotlight!

Dalton has been coaching with All American Baseball since 2022, bringing nine years of summer baseball coaching experience to the organization. In addition to serving as a coach and instructor, he plays an integral role behind the scenes as the organization’s Director of College Placement & Recruitment and HR Business Partner, helping guide players both on and off the field.

A former four-year collegiate baseball player at West Liberty University, Dalton graduated after a successful playing career and earned a professional contract in the Pecos League. Although he had the opportunity to continue playing professionally, he chose to come to Pittsburgh to begin the next chapter of his career, dedicating himself to developing the next generation of athletes.

Since joining All American, Dalton has worn many hats while remaining committed to the organization’s player-first mission. As Director of College Placement & Recruitment, he has helped more than 40 student-athletes continue their careers at the collegiate level across all divisions of baseball, while also mentoring one MLB Draft selection. He believes the impact of coaching extends far beyond wins and losses, embracing All American’s commitment to developing not only better baseball players, but young men of character. By emphasizing accountability, leadership, work ethic, and life skills alongside athletic development, Dalton strives to prepare every player for success both on the field and long after the game is over.

Dalton takes great pride in being part of the All American family and is committed to continuing the organization’s tradition of developing high-character student-athletes. Through his leadership, instruction, and dedication to every player’s individual journey, he looks forward to helping even more young men achieve their goals at the collegiate and professional levels.
