We sure appreciate these kind words from some of our exhibitors.
Lauren Robinson, Idaho: Hands down one of our favorite shows we've ever been to. We absolutely loved everything about this double show - the beautiful location, incredible sportsmanship, the variety of classes (especially the versatility) and wonderfully thoughtful prizes. More than anything, it was such a welcoming, fun atmosphere from start to finish. We came home already talking about going back and will absolutely make this show a priority in the future.
Maureen O Duryee, California: My husband and I are new to showing Peruvian Horses. We met so many great horsemen and genuinely gentle, fun and knowledgeable horse lovers at this show. It felt like a family weekend.
Thea Pichel, California: Firstly, the camaraderie among all the exhibitors and staff. Having everyone that could, come and stay in their RV where a permanent locale for food, relaxing, talking and socializing could take place. Encouraging friendships and shared experiences together.
Secondly, every exhibitor matters. While breeders and income are necessary to the shows and breed, this show opened up a large part of their show to the people who enjoy their horses every day during the year on the trail. The people may only have 1 or 2 horses, or may not be able to facilitate professional training. The trial class, barrel race, pairs, costume and ch*****ne - all classes that are fun for everyone and encourage every level to participate. And thirdly, the organization. From the PL, which outlines everything necessary and leaves no surprises for exhibitors at the show. The efficiency of how quickly the stall and volunteers set up and broke down the barrel race and trail class was impressive. Everyone worked together immensely well to get things done.
Amy Remick, Oregon: This was my first year to compete in Monroe, WA in the dual show for the Canadian Nationals and the Northwest Peruvian Horse Club Regionals. My main reason for competing is the people. Being around this great group of individuals fills my heart with joy. I love supporting them in their wins and encouraging them regardless of the outcome. They support and encourage me as well. It was such a pleasure to participate and I am grateful for all the efforts made by all the show organizers to make it an excellent show for all involved. I greatly appreciate the feedback from the judges as well that helps me in my improvements. Thank you!!
