18yo Haflinger/ Paint Pony (14.1hh)

Solid, steady, trustworthy. Just a few words that come to mind when thinking about May. She’s the perfect mount for beginners- intermediate riders. She is a proven show partner at local county shows, always wanting to please. This girl has no ounce of spook in her. Definitely more woah than go. She has been the perfect partner to teach students how to show!

I will be very selective on who leases this special girl, as she holds a big place in my heart (and all my students hearts).

UCSC Open Show🐴

Very proud of all my riders & horses today!

One of my favorite parts of horse show days isn’t just watching the ribbons earned—it’s watching our kids work together to make sure the horses are taken care of above all else and the day run smoothly!

From helping each other tack up, cheering each other on before a class, holding horses, carrying equipment, and stepping in wherever they’re needed, these kids truly show what being part of a team is all about. The support, kindness, and responsibility they demonstrate make me just as proud as any placing in the ring.

Horse shows are a lot of work, but when everyone works together, it becomes something special. Thankful for a group of riders who understand that success isn’t just about individual accomplishments—it’s about lifting each other up and growing together.

So proud of our True North team and the young people they’re becoming. ❤️🐴

Happy 18th birthday to the one and only, Truth.

It’s hard to put into words what this horse means to our barn and our family. For so many years, Truth has been the steady heartbeat of this place—the horse countless riders have learned on, grown with, and trusted. He has carried nervous beginners, celebrated first accomplishments, and helped create memories that will last a lifetime.

For me, Truth is even more special. He was the very first horse I introduced my child to, and trusted him enough to let him be the first horse he ever rode. Out of all the horses in the barn, he was the one I trusted with something so precious. That says everything about who he is. Kind, patient, dependable, and gentle in a way that can’t be taught.

Truth has been there through seasons of change, teaching lessons far beyond riding. He has shown patience, forgiveness, and the quiet strength that makes a truly great horse. He isn’t just part of the barn—he helped build the foundation of it.

Happy 18th birthday to a horse who has given so much of himself to so many people. We are better because of you, and we are endlessly grateful for every ride, every lesson, and every memory. Here’s to celebrating the horse who has touched more lives than he’ll ever know. ❤️🎂🐴

Happy Birthday, My Lovely Lady May!

May has been one of the most trustworthy and patient horses for so many kids over the years, always taking care of every rider that climbs on her back. From beginners gaining confidence to helping create special moments for Barrett and Hazel she has a heart of gold and truly deserves to be celebrated today.

Thank you, May, for being gentle, dependable, and loved by so many. We are so lucky to have you. Help us wish this amazing girl a very happy birthday! ❤️

We are so excited and incredibly thankful to announce that True North now has a new arena! 🤍🐴

This has been a dream for our program, riders, and horses, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way. We can’t wait to make so many memories in this new space and continue growing the True North family.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in us and helped make this possible. A big thank you to Reno and Amy for helping support my growing business for the past 5 years none of this would be possible without you guys! The best is yet to come! ✨
