After the first day, I knew I would need 15ish+ pounds the second day to be fishing championship day, I knew the caliber of fish in grand so it was more than possible to do. I got some good wind with an hour left to fish and headed back to my main area and they were in there stacked. Had some key fish pull off at the net that would have made things reallll interesting at weigh in but it happens. Thank you to anyone who called or texted me with good lucks and any other words of encouragement. It means the world

One of my favorite parts of pickwick was getting to idle around and find these big schools of bass. Don’t get to do any ledge fishing around the house much in the cypress trees😂

While we didn't finish as we had hoped to at Pickwick, we still ended up as a Top 15 school in the nation in the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. ULM Fishing is primed for a great 20-21 season and we had two teams qualify for the National Championship in the FLW College Series. Our little team just keeps hanging around making noise with the big boys of bass fishing. Could not be more proud of my teammates. Three SEC teams in the Top 15 with us in Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee. Those are some pretty good programs. Don't count us out of anything....

We'll get to showcase our talents on our home turf come October as the FLW College Series comes to the Ouachita River. Our home field advantage. If you want to see some amazing young talent, come on out. We're going to show the rest of the country what we got down here in Monroe. You haven't seen anything yet! They better be ready, because we are.......
