Thanks go out to our great partners: The City of Monroe for allowing us to use the beautiful venue; El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant & Bar - Monroe for the burritos; Dreadnought Brewing LLC for special awards and hosting the after party; Tree Tech NW LLC for the cool podiums; and Wild Sky Community Trails Association for their great work on trail maintenance and development in our community.
Special thanks to all of the participants. Without you it wouldn’t happen. All proceeds from this event go into local trail development and maintenance in the Skykomish River Valley.

Mark your calendars! The Sky Valley Trail Runners Association is working to bring back the Osprey Ambler. Pending application approvals, October 17, 2026 will be the third running of this timed event on trails in beautiful Osprey Park, Sultan, WA. Watch this page and UltraSignup.com for more information.

The Sky Valley Trail Runners Association is the 501(c)(3) non-profit that brings you the Lake Tye Challenge. Our mission is to preserve and enhance trail running and outdoor recreation opportunities in the Skykomish Valley Region. Our founding board members are Roni Kauri, Peter Livingstone, and Skye Pazuchanics.

Heads up, all. Register by tomorrow before the price increase on April 30. All proceeds from the race go to the Sky Valley Trail Runners Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are currently directing our efforts to support the Wild Sky Community Trail, linking trails through public lands from Gold Bar to Index and Heybrook Lookout. Have you registered yet? Save before the price hike takes effect on April 30. You really don't want to miss out on running for 3, 6, or 12 hours with a bunch of wild and crazy guys and gals. We'll have burritos from El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant & Bar - Monroe, and a post-race party with live music at Dreadnought Brewing LLC.
