Charlotte Aeromodelers Club

Charlotte Aeromodelers Club We were founded in 1972 and are sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), a national organization that promotes sport aviation.

The Charlotte Aeromodelers, an AMA recognized Gold Leader Club, is a group of individuals who build, fly and enjoy all types of radio controlled aircraft from electric, to gliders, to giant scale. We have several flight instructors that can help you with everything from building your first model, to breaking-in a new engine, to getting you to your first solo flight.

Progress at CAM. We have the slab poured for the clubhouse and shelter. The building is going up starting Monday 4/20 and should take a few days. We have a shelter and beach at the pond now for boats and planes.
