Good afternoon GTZ members and followers!

I'm excited to announce that we will be reopening the Morganville and Monroe gyms for INDOOR TRAINING September 1!

Finally!

If you wish to start coming to training sessions, just comment I'M IN! and my team will get you set up.

Our Governor has a placed a few restrictions which I have included below. As a reminder, whether you agree with them or not, please follow them all it so that we don't have issues staying open.

Few things:

1. You MUST preregister for your training sessions. Not only is that me asking but now the state wants a log of who attends the sessions. If you do not register in advance, you will not be permitted to workout that day by the coach.

2. When you log into the app to book your first session, you'll be asked to sign a COVID waiver stating that you will agree to follow all procedures.

3. We'll be taking your temperature when you come in before the session starts.

4. Wash your hands or sanitize upon entering and leaving the gym. We ask that you make sure to wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds or sanitize upon entering and leaving the gym.

5. Sanitize equipment BEFORE and AFTER use. You must grab a spray bottle and a towel to wipe off any equipment you use. Before using a mat, a kettlebell, a dumbbell, a barbell, etc… Spray and wipe it down. All spray bottles are filled with Lemocide, which is on the state’s approved list for killing Covid-19. Label found below. Yes, you may grab a 2nd towel for wiping sweat. Towels limited to 2 per person.

6. Face Masks Must Be Worn At All Times.

7. Maintain Social Distancing of 6FT Apart. One person per 200 square feet. Please do everything possible to set up your exercise stations 6 feet apart from those around you. Same goes for grabbing equipment to use and putting it back.

Please remember to refer your friends. We can use all the support to stay open for you. It means more than you know.

I hope you all are excited as I am to resume your training. Just comment "YES, I'M IN" and we'll have you ready to go for Tuesday.

🚫Don't Make This Same Mistake🚫

Most people don't treat being fit as a lifestyle and instead they urgently race to get fit at the last second when things hit the fan.

In this process of cutting calories in an unintelligent way, basically crash dieting they end up getting significantly less protein in per day.

If you don't get enough essential amino acids from your diet your body will cannibalize your muscles to get them and fasted cardio will accelerate this process.

Now, burning some extra protein from your fasted cardio workouts isn't gonna be that big of a deal if you’re eating a well balanced diet.

BUT

If you're combining fasted cardio sessions with a crash diet, then this would definitely lead to muscle loss.

If you're dead set on doing more fasted cardio, then make sure that you're only reducing calories from maintenance by no more than 20 to 25 percent.

If you wanna do more of an aggressive diet where you're reducing calories from maintenance by let's say even 30-35 percent then you should definitely try to keep fasted cardio and cardio in general to a minimum to preserve more muscle mass.
