As much as I love figure 8 racing, and have enjoyed it. It's just time to move on and enjoy other things.

Orange 45 car will be for sale on championship night. Can take home as is directly after the race.

Price and car isn't for everyone

Barbie bump to pass car needs left front frame fixed or cut off and replaced
$1250.00 as is. Still runs and drives just doesn't steer very well, and needs repaired before it goes back to a track.
350 with a 3 speed trans and 3.08 welded rear end.
Car works surprisingly well for what it is.
Paint Scheme would have to be changed.

Cars are not for sale to everyone. There's a few people who will be told no. Doesn't matter how much they offer.

Lots of sights to see as we took Chevy to school in north Carolina! We will be sad to leave, but are extremely excited and proud to see what he can accomplish!

Make sure to come to Evergreen Speedway championship night September 12th to see him again as he will be back for that night only and leave again Sunday!

We got to see Duke university, and check out the chaple. The campus is huge...don't take directions from Becky.
Got to watch a race at bowman gray, even though we only got to see 2 of the 4 races since lightning came into the area and it started pouring rain.

Lots of running around trying to find a vehicle, unfortunately didn't find what I wanted, but got him something reliable!

It is unfortunate how the events unfolded, and i take blame on myself for escalating the situation. As soon as Chevy got touched, the Dad in me said not going to happen!
3 things in my life you dont touch. My wife, my kids, or my friends. Ill take whatever fines/penalties come my way and lick my wounds.

We appreciate all the support we have received! From other racers and fans!

Now we focus on repairing the new 45 car and then we have to make a plan to get some funding to get Chevy back out here for September 12th to run the final race of the season!

Good morning race fans......There will be no race day update until we hear from Evergreen Speedway regarding the final offical results early in the week.

After this is dealt with, I will make an up to date post regarding the events that happened and how it turns out.

Last race to catch Chevy before he leaves to attend UTI Nascar Tech in North Carolina.

Ready for 60 minutes of fear at Evergreen Speedway
Come watch Chevy wheel the 45 tonight!

Unfortunately just a single car for the rest of the season, but we will support Chevy and see if he can get another podium tonight.

Wenatchee bump to pass recap....
Still working bugs out of the car.

Started first practice with fastest lap of 18.1
2nd practice, spun a few times pushing the car, but gained a .5 second down to a 17.6

Took 2nd in her heat race.

Rick found a bad upper ball joint so we got that switched out. Hope that fixes her death wobble.

Main event time comes fires car up to go line up no issues, shuts car off in line.

Go to head out for main event and car wont start. No fuel getting to carburetor. Main was only 15 laps so I didn't get it fixed in time.

Not sure if a clog in hose or weak pump even though both are brand new.

All in all it sucks and I hate disappointing/letting Crimson down, but its racing and crap happens.

On another note, its way easier to spend money when your mad, so crimsons car got some new parts ordered up to hopefully fix some of our issues

Lastly on a good note. We got to spend the day with friends and family. Doesnt get much better than that!
