The Sharpshooters had a great time at the CTS rampage shoot Marshall Bluff Bowhunters put on. Gage even walked away with a new bow! They’ve been practicing every week getting ready for the indoor competition season. Coach Bob Ruchti was also donating his Time helping run the shoot. It was such a great day.

We had another fun and competitive sharpshooter practice. The kids shot a 20 arrow warm up, then a 30 arrow qualifier round to set up a lowest qualifier score to the highest qualifier score. All great matches. Its great to see the kids step up to the line with more confidence and shoot well. We can definitely see improvements in all areas of shooting. I think the kids will have a solid upcoming S3DA indoor season. The team is having fun and they love being together.

Also last night was Treydon Ambs last night as an active member of our team, as next week he's off to college in Iowa. But he's always welcome back to practice with us anytime he's home. Treydon has been a great member of our team,wish we could have had him longer. Were going to miss him. Good luck in college.

The sharpshooters S3DA team were really shooting great tonight! They did a mock tournament with a 30 arrow qualifier and shoot downs until one archer was left. Chase won it in the end with two perfect rounds. All the kids are shooting great and following the #1 rule of archery, have fun.

Results from yesterday's Field Tournament - Congratulations to Jeremy Landphier for winning the tournament and the Trifecta Series! We were happy to have 2 Cubs and 2 Youth archers join us this year. Hope you all enjoyed the shooting and food!

We can't wait to see you Field shooters on Saturday at Marshall Bluff Bowhunters for our 32nd Annual 4th of July Field Tournament! 9:00 shotgun start. Some notes:

Marshall Bluff field course will be closed for league/open shooting on Friday, July 3rd until Saturday after our tournament. We will be hanging targets that afternoon.

We will be shooting 14 Field and 14 Hunter. League shooters, you can count either/both for league scores.

For lunch, chicken, pulled pork, and cheesy potatoes will be provided. Fell free to bring a side/dessert to pass!

Water will be provided on the course and at target number 1. Drinks will be available for purchase in the clubhouse.

We will be drawing the 50/50 winner! Trifecta $ awards will be handed out. And there will be a tournament payout as well.

Can't wait to see everyone!

We are just over a week out from the annual 4th of July Field tournament hosted at Marshall Bluff Bowhunters !! Please bring a dish to pass for the potluck lunch after.

We'll be shooting 14 Field, 14 Hunter - then lunch afterward. Shotgun start at 9:00 AM. We have been hard at work cleaning up the trails. The new target butts on the course and practice range are ready to go. Come shoot the Bluff! Hope to see you there!
