Well, the season has come to an end!

Last night was championship night at Knoxville Raceway. Dad drew an 8 so we were in the first group for qualifying, we ended up 15th out of 19 which started us 8th in heat one where we finished 5th. Evan started 13th in the feature and ran an amazing race, it was by far the best he has looked at Knoxville! However, while fighting for 5th, the motor blew up and the car went up in flames. Evan got the car stopped and got out very quick. Thank God for the fire equipment doing its job! We were planning on running a few other tracks before we called it a season but with a blown motor, we are officially done.

We cannot thank Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, TruBuild Construction Services, KRCO, and Matt Jones Trucking enough for the support this season, as well as Joe Simbro, Uncle Jeramy, Josh Phillips, and The Higdays for the help and support throughout the season.

Now to plan and prepare for 2026!

We are headed home from Hamilton County Speedway! Overall it was a pretty good night, we were the second fastest car in hotlaps, started on the outside of the front row in the heat and pulled off our first heat race win! Evan drew a 2 in the redraw so put us back on the outside pole for the feature. He had a decent start but, made a mistake going for the lead and smoked a tractor tire. We are bummed but the car doesn’t have too much damage so we will get it fixed and race another day!

Thank you so much to Joe Simbro, Josh Phillips, Uncle Jeramy, and Dad for making the drive for us to try out a new track and busting their butts all night in the heat. Dang!! It was the right call though! See everyone next week!!

With persistent showers rolling through Knoxville today and more forecasted, track officials have agreed to cancel tonight’s Higher View Enterprises – Nolan Wren Memorial and Mid-Season Championship Night.

Our next event is July 12, VanWall / Marion County Fair and 410 Border Battle Night!
