Meet Dave Conley and Andrew Gibbs we team up each year to produce the best quality remote moose hunt possible in the North Maine Woods. Moose hunting is not just a hobby it’s our passion, our way of life. A few bulls from years past! Good luck in the lottery today! If you are looking for an outfit that will put everything possible into your hunt, look no further. We team up year after year with Dave Conley at Canoe the Wild to create the best possible experience out of one location preventing being spread thin. The same great team year after year (we are not looking to grow, rather keep quality top shelf). We are lucky to have camp cooks Bud and Wayne cooking great meals for us and Seth keeping up camp so your guide is only focusing on your hunt!

This bull was taken on a tough week they were pretty quiet and it was warm in October. He was grunting but wouldn’t move and it was very sparse we couldn’t get any closer. There was a thick bog between him and us. We made a move late morning coming in from a different road system trying to get in where we thought he was. It was thick and hard to be quiet we went in lightly grunting and raking. He would grunt maybe once every 20 minutes and eventually stopped all together. The wind started to swirl slightly so we made a decision to just move slowly and try to get where he was quick before he winded us. We started crossing cut trails and after 3 of them we caught a glimpse of antler and Brady made a quick perfect shot to anchor the bull! It appeared he hadn’t moved for a couple days eating moss and bedding right there, obviously run down from the rut.
