ELEMENTARY TENNIS CAMP LOCATION CHANGE

Due to the rain today, camp has been moved inside to the fieldhouse & parents will need to pick their child up at door NW-2.

Today didn’t go as planned but as I sit and reflect on the day one word comes to mind “gratitude”.
Gratitude for these young women who even though their favorite games of the season were cancelled, showed up with smiles, and positive attitudes, ready to support wherever needed.
Gratitude for Mr. McCullough, who fought for me & believed in me to lead these Lady Jets. When my girls insisted on him being the recipient of this year’s fundraiser, I was going to do everything in my power to make that happen for him & his family.
Gratitude for my fellow coaches and dads who jumped right in, and made things run smoothly today when things could have went south rather quickly, with the forecast. Gratitude for every single person who came out today to support Jeff and his family as he continues his journey battling cancer.

THANK YOU TO EVERY BUSINESS AND DONOR!

IHSAA BOYS' TRACK & FIELD SECTIONAL #10

Gates open at 3:30pm. Spectators will be allowed entry at 4:45pm

Order of Events:
5:30pm - Field Events begin - discus, long jump, high jump and pole vault
6:00pm - 4x800m Relay
6:15pm - TRIALS - 100m Dash - 100m Hurdles and 200m Dash

All Finals in the running events will start twenty (20) minutes after the completion of the 200m Dash Trials. If the weather allows, athletes will be presented ribbons for the first eight (8) places on the football field after their race. Field event ribbons will be awarded during the 3200m run. If the weather does not permit this, ribbons can be picked up in the timing trailer after the meet.

ADVANCEMENT:
The first three (3) places in all individual events and relays plus any individual or relay team meeting the 3 Participant Standard in the Sectional Finals of their event will advance to the Carroll Regional. An individual or relay team shall not advance to the Regional from the Sectional Finals unless the time is recorded by fully automated timing (F.A.T.). The remaining four (4) spots for Regionals will be determined by the next best four (4) performances out of the four (4) Sectionals that feed into the Carroll Regional. Carroll will contact the schools of those athletes that place into those top four (4) spots.
