Our July is about to be insane. πŸπŸ’š

We'll kick things off by heading to Indianapolis for Owen to race in the largest quarter midget race in the country, with more than 500 cars expected. He'll also get the opportunity to take a lap around the actual Indianapolis Motor Speedway and kiss the bricks. It's an experience he'll remember for the rest of his life.

Then it's back home to race the micro at the Clay Cup Nationals in Deming. Three nights of dirt racing against drivers from all over, all chasing the title of champion.

And if all goes well, we may be heading to QMA Grand Nationals as well.

Because of these opportunities, we're looking to add a few more supporters to Hill Racing. If you're a business owner, know someone who might be interested, or are simply a fan who wants to be part of Owen's journey, we'd love to chat.

Whether it's a sponsorship, a small contribution, purchasing merch, or simply sharing our posts, every bit of support helps make opportunities like these possible.

Owen's new merch design is officially finished, and I'll be opening pre-orders soon. If you'd like to grab a shirt and support his racing adventures, keep an eye out for that announcement.

As always, thank you to everyone who follows along, cheers him on, and supports this kid's dream. We appreciate it more than you know. πŸ’šπŸ

Talladega Nights Fun Race Results-

The format was qualifying with a Nascar style pit stop challenge in the middle of qualifying laps.

Our crew was a little rusty, leaving loose bolts on both Kennedy's car and Owen's light 160, resulting in time penalties. They made up for it though in the light world formula with fast time! 🏁

With the penalties it put Kennedy and Owen in B mains.

In Kennedy's B main, she finished 4th, giving her the last transfer spot in the A main. We don't always have full fields so she was a little nervous with 10 cars being on the track. After a few bumps throughout the raceway, her keyway sheared off and she had to come off the track resulting in a DNF.

Owen started 4th in his light 160 B main and won it, moving him to the 7 car in the A main. He ran a great race and got himself into 2nd for a majority of the race. With a 5 car pile up, they all got sent to the back. He worked his way back up to finish 4th.

He started 1st in the World and lead all 40 laps to take the 🏁

Better than racing though was that some of our most favorite race families came out and we got to spend long overdue time together. We absolutely love seeing our friends from other tracks and can't wait until we see them again πŸ’š
