We celebrated our award ceremony last night at our annual banquet. We’re so proud of all of their accomplishments! Our seniors (Desy, Alayna, Sophie, Lauryn, and Alexis) will be missed dearly and we wish them the best of luck in their futures! And for our underclassmen, we are excited for what their future holds! As the saying goes, “The offseason IS the season!” So now is the time to put in the work!

Girls basketball season came to an unfortunate end in Baraboo. We were down a few key players tonight and struggled to find scoring. However, we are so proud of the effort the girls gave tonight as there was no quit to them even against tough odds. I am thankful to all of our seniors for their hard work over the years to move this program in the right direction. This team is certainly on the rise and we are excited about the growth we’ve shown and the possibilities for the coming years! To our underclassmen, keep woring and imoroving this offseason! To our seniors, we wish them the best in their future!

Monroe caught fire from 3 tonight hitting a season-high 10 3s led by Braylee Friedrich (18) and Brynlee Scace (14). Analise Newcomer, Addison Douglas, and Willow Stroede also knocked down shots beyond the arc to keep the scoring going.

Monroe is back in action at Baraboo on Tuesday night for the postseason!
