East Fairmont Middle School Soccer is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win either a Blackstone griddle bundle or a Yeti cooler bundle. We will have two winners! First drawn gets choice of prize! Tickets are 1 for $5, 3 for $10, or 8 for $20. Drawing will be held during half time of the boys game on Monday, September 25th. You do not need to be present to win. See any middle school soccer player to get your tickets or send a message to our page!

TRY-OUTS!!!
EFMS soccer try-outs for any interested 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will begin Monday, August 7 at Windmill Park, 5:30-7:00 girls and 7:00-8:30 boys.

‼️REMINDER: JULY TRAINING INFO‼️

Just a reminder, your player will need to have a new physical (form revised 5/23) .I have been told that the new clinic in (the old Med Express of Fairmont) is doing free physicals on a walk-in basis if you are looking for a place to get one quick and easy. The new form is available on the WVSSAC website.

Flex Day optional trainings are on the app calendar, but as a reminder they will be on Mon/Tues/Thurs for the next 3 weeks. That means: July 10, 11, 13, 17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 27.

Next week will all be at Windmill Park from:
GIRLS: 5:30-7:00
BOYS: 7:00-8:00.

Parents, all invites have went out for the teams’ Band app. Please accept and join if you have not already. This is where all important information regarding summer training and the upcoming season will be. If you have not received an invite or are having trouble with the app, please see Coach Lucas (girls) or Coach Cassell (boys) tomorrow after practice.

Live period starts today!!! 5:30-7:00 for girls and 7:00-8:30 for boys. Both at Windmill Park behind the basketball courts. Please remember that players who did not participate in a school sport during the ‘22-‘23 school year must have a sports physical dated after May 1, 2023 before they may participate in any summer trainings or tryouts in August. Returning players (or those who played another school sport this year) will need an updated sports physical dated after May 1, 2023 for any trainings after June 30.

Don’t forget parent meeting tomorrow, May 15 at the EFMS cafeteria at 5:00 pm. This is a chance to meet the coaches, pick up sports paperwork, and find out a little more about our program and our summer schedule. Please pass this along to any upcoming 6th-8th grade boys and girls that may be interested in playing in the fall. Hope to see everyone there!!!
