Monmouth Daily Drafters Monmouth Daily Drafters is a bike club located in Monmouth, Illinois. Weather permitting, we meet Open to all riders.

Though there has been a core group of cyclists riding nearly every morning (May – September) from the “City Square” in Monmouth since the mid 1990’s, the Monmouth Daily Drafters did not settle on a group or club name until late in 2010. Over a period of several months a logo and website have been developed to attract more riders, increase membership, to serve as a conduit for communicating among c

lub members, and most importantly, to promote cycling and cycling safety in the Monmouth, Illinois area.

This morning’s Annual Monmouth Daily Drafters 🚵🏻‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️ Christmas Breakfast again took place at the Daily’s. This group of guys from various ages and walks of life have been commonly bonded through cycling since the mid 1990’s. Lifelong friendships have evolved as other bikers have joined in. Many memories, most of which we can discuss without taking the fifth amendment. Merry Christmas to all.

The most common causes of bike tire dry rot include low inflation of the tires, storage near excessive heat and a lack of use.
- Low inflation, check - have not aired them in ages
- Excessive heat, check - hanging upside down in the basement...heat rises, right?
- lack of use, check - at least the are not going bald.
