Universal Kempo-Karate Schools Association, founded in 1981 by Grand Master Martin T. Buell, blends the traditional values and philosophies of Chinese Kempo, with modern martial arts and fitness techniques to create a complete system of self-defense while developing character appropriate for all ages and ability levels. We teach self-defense and abide by traditional martial arts va

lues of respect, courtesy, discipline and responsibility. Our goal is for our students to become stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. Your physical training gets you in shape, and you will learn specific skills for self-defense. Assistant Chief Instructor Clark
The Head Instructor at the Moneta branch is Jacob Clark. He began training as a youth in 1996 under 8th Degree Assistant Professor Ragone in Daleville, Va. Currently he is training under 9th Degree Professor Brammer at the Star City Branch in Roanoke, Va. Instructor Clark moved his family to Moneta and wanted to start sharing his passion for martial arts with his community. Working with the local YMCA he opened the Moneta Branch in 2021.
