Here’s something I’ve changed up on my mock scrape posts the last couple seasons:

After trying to drill a hole and screw the branch into the hole too many times with not great success due to them ripping off easily - I think I’ve found a little better solution.

Flag Post Holders from Amazon! I’ve tried a few different ones from Menards as well, but the plastic ones don’t hold up nearly as well as these. Excited to see the cool REVEAL by Tactacam videos we get this year monitoring these!!

Fall kill plots are in and already germinating!! We hustled like none other to get them in before the rain last week and man did it pay off!! These are some of the biggest green plots we’ve had yet… so we’re excited to see how much the deer will love em’!!

Next up - getting scrape trees / licking branches in place and getting those last couple cameras out 📸
