Thanks to all those dads out there. Have a safe and happy Fathers Day weekend.
Let’s talk about moto dads.
Not the ones in the photos.
Not the ones standing on the podium.
The ones behind it all.
The dads who quietly carry the weight of a dream that isn’t even theirs.
The ones who get up before everyone else and go to bed after everyone else. Working overtime, putting off things they want—and sometimes things they need—just so their kid can line up behind a starting gate for five minutes on a Sunday.
People see the bikes.
The gear.
The races.
What they don’t see are the sacrifices.
The bills that got pushed back.
The late nights staring at a bank account trying to figure out how to make the next race happen.
The pressure of wanting to give your kid every opportunity while wondering if you’re getting any of it right.
They don’t see the dad driving home after a race weekend doing math in his head—fuel, entry fees, tires, chains, hotels—and figuring out how many hours he’ll need to work next week to do it all over again.
They don’t see the moments when life is falling apart outside the track, but somehow that gate drop becomes the one place where everything makes sense for a little while.
Because for most moto dads, it was never really about racing.
It’s about time.
Time spent in the truck talking about life.
Time under an EZ-Up wrenching on bikes.
Time making memories before the kids grow up and race weekends become stories.
One day the gate drops will end.
The bikes will get parked.
The trophies will collect dust.
And what will matter most won’t be the championships or the number plates.
It’ll be the miles traveled together.
The conversations nobody else heard.
The lessons learned.
The bond built through every win, every crash, every setback, and every comeback.
That’s what makes a moto dad special.
He’s not just raising a racer.
He’s raising a young man or woman—and giving a piece of himself every step of the way.
This Father’s Day, here’s to the moto dads carrying more than anyone knows, sacrificing in silence, and showing up every single weekend.
And if given the chance…
They’d do it all again tomorrow. 🏁❤️
