🇺🇸🏆 WHAT A WEEK FOR DANCEFAM AT USDC!
🥇 Jordan Fiedler earned TWO national titles — Ladies A Closed Bronze American Rhythm Champion and Ladies A Closed Silver International Latin Champion — making her a three-time U.S. Champion! She also stepped onto the Open to the World floor, earning 4th place in a full Ladies A Latin Scholarship final.
🥇 Heather Kipf became DanceFam’s newest U.S. Champion, earning her very first national title with a win in the Ladies B Closed Bronze 5-Dance International Latin Scholarship!
✨ Michelle Daill danced beautifully in both Closed and Open Bronze Ladies C and earned 4th place in the U.S. National Closed Bronze Ladies C Latin Scholarship! We absolutely love watching her confidence continue to grow.
🔥 Shana Pisle took a BIG new leap, competing in her first Open to the World Ladies B Latin Scholarship semi-final! We’re so proud of her for trusting herself, trusting Slava and continuing to push beyond her comfort zone.
🥇🥈 Esme Rummell & Lily Super took on their first USDC, competing in Pro/Am International Latin with Slava AND independently in Solo Stars. They capped off the week with a DanceFam 1-2 finish in the U.S. National Closed Bronze Junior Ladies Solo Star 2-Dance — Esme 1st and Lily 2nd!
🏆 Slava Polubnev was named #1 TOP LATIN TEACHER for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! 🏆
That award represents countless hours of teaching, coaching, preparation and investment in every dancer who stepped onto that floor.
And somehow, between the early mornings, hairspray, costume changes and competition craziness, we had a heck of a lot of fun. ❤️ We laughed, celebrated, cheered each other on and came home with friendships even stronger than when we left.
Our DanceFam at home was right there with us, too. Rachel was glued to the livestream — watching, cheering and texting like she was sitting beside us in the ballroom. Those are our people — the ones on the floor, beside it and cheering like crazy from hundreds of miles away.
Congratulations to our dancers. Thank you to everyone who supports this crazy, wonderful DanceFam. We are so proud of what we accomplished together — and even more excited about what lies ahead.
