Here’s a couple Hunter models shipping today. First has handle material of Spalted Stabilized Pecan. Handles secured with two 3/16” nickel silver pins. Second has handle material G-10 a synthetic material in orange color. Handles are secured with two 3/16” nickel silver pins. Both knives have file work at the thumb position.

Just finished this Modified Skinner with Gut Hook. ATS-34 steel mirror polished. File work at index finger position. Handle material is Spalted Buckeye Maple Burl stabilized and cast in a blue resin. Handles secured with two 3/16” nickel silver pins. Lanyard hole in rear of handle.

It’s been a while since I tackled a Bowie but I think this one looks pretty good. Damascus random pattern. Handles are premium stabilized Giraffe bone secured with two 3/16” nickel silver pins. Bolsters are nickel silver with file work.

Just finished a set of four steak knives for a client. Been a while since I made a steak knife. 440-C steel in 3/32” thickness mirror polished. Handles are premium Cocobolo secured with two 1/8” nickel silver pins. The 3/32” thickness can really give your fingers a fit grinding but worth the effort in the end.

I have always hated to discard pieces of Mammoth Ivory. It seems such a waste of an ancient material. I took some scraps and cast them in an epoxy resin to develop the handle material. This is a small dagger in Damascus. Double ground blade with handle tapered to 1/16” at rear of handle. Handles secured with two 1/8” nickel silver pins. File work to aid grip located at grooves where fore finger and thumb hold knife.
