August 1991 Jim and Wendy decided to venture out and head out west in efforts to open a second a second location in Mokena. During the 3 rd year in business, a decision was made to move the Glenwood gym to Mokena facility to almost 18,000 square feet. Over the last 28 years Gym-Kinetics programs have grown to over 1,000 students per week between the 2 facilities which have produced some of the cou
ntries top gymnasts. Since the late 1980's when Gym-kinetics first started its competitive program they have had countless state and regional champions, 63 National qualifiers, 8 National Team members and 19 full ride scholarships awarded. In recent years, Jum has been named Coach of the Year and also has been named to the West Leyden High School Hsll of Fame in recognition of his achievements in the sport of gymnastics.
