Takin’ Chances 55’s
Day 3 of 3 Wednesday 10/14
We had to replay our last pool play game against Polar Vortex from Tuesday. Game time was 10:55am. We ended up losing this one pitch, 30 minute, 6th inning game 14-11. Now we have to work our way through the losers bracket. We moved quickly to the next game vs Golden Players. It was win and go on or lose and go home. Game time was 11:55am. We won this game 8-7. Move again to the next field, back to back. This game was against Let it Ride at 12:45pm.
We won this game 6-2. Now we had to play Spokane Sparks. Game time 1:42pm. We won this game in the bottom of the fifth inning, 11-10. Now we go straight into the next game, 2:30pm against Polar Vortex. We won this close game 11-10, with a double play to end it at the bottom of the sixth inning. We were now in the gold/silver medal game. Blue Crush would be our next opponent. Game time was 3:20pm. Blue Crush was undefeated so we had to beat them twice for the gold. We were visitors. We had a little bit of a slow start, but by the third inning our bats started getting hot. We won this game, 17-6. Now we play our 7th game back to back. Game time was 4:10pm. We were home team. We lost this game but won the silver medal. That was 7 games back to back starting at 10:55am and and finishing around 5pm. No breaks. Time for a team dinner & drinks! Hot tub later too!

We are so proud of the ladies who played in 55’s with us. Great job everyone! It definitely was a team effort. Thanks to Greg Griffith and Terry Adkins for base coaching. This is one tournament we will talk about years from now. Great memories. 💕
