Modesto Mavericks families, we have a fun surprise planned for the end of tomorrow’s meet!

After the final free relay, we’ll be hosting an informal Father’s Day Swim, where dads (or parent figures) can jump in and race their swimmers! 🎉

📌 No sign-ups required
📌 Just line up behind the blocks when announced
📌 Parents who would like to participate should bring a swimsuit and be ready to race!

We can’t wait to cheer on our Mavericks both in and out of the pool. See you tomorrow for a great day of racing, team spirit, and fun! 🌊🖤🤍

💥 IMPORTANT FUNDRAISER DETAILS:
✅ Fireworks Scripts are REQUIRED for ALL families
✅ Single Swimmer Family: $50 script purchase
✅ 2+ Swimmer Family: $75 script purchase
✅ Scripts are redeemable for fireworks at our TNT Fireworks Booth

When purchasing your scripts, PLEASE enter your swimmer’s FIRST & LAST NAME in the Fundraising Program Designation section of the registration form so your family receives proper fundraising credit.

💙🌊 Why We Swim Wednesday – Featuring Jr. Coach Estrella 🌊💙

For some swimmers, the pool is more than a place to race—it’s a place that feels like home.

This week, Jr. Coach Estrella shares a beautiful reminder of why so many of us love this sport. Swimming isn’t just about chasing best times or winning races. It’s about finding peace in the water, embracing the challenge of every second, and discovering a space where the noise of the world fades away.

“I swim because I feel at peace when I’m in the water, even if it’s only for a split second.”

That feeling is something many swimmers understand—the quiet beneath the surface, the focus of being alone in a lane, and the excitement of knowing every second counts. Swimming teaches discipline, resilience, confidence, and provides a place where lifelong memories are made.

From personal bests and fast times to exciting finishes and unforgettable team moments, our swimmers showed what it means to compete with heart, determination, and sportsmanship. Every race, every cheer, every relay exchange, and every smile on deck helped make this a day to remember.

💙Why We Swim Wednesday – Meet Lilly! 💙

At just 5 years old, Lilly reminds us exactly what youth swimming is all about—having fun, building confidence, making friends, and celebrating every milestone along the way! 🌊

Lilly loves everything about swimming, especially freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. She loves being with her teammates, making new friends, and proudly wearing her Modesto Mavericks suit wherever she goes. One of her biggest accomplishments? Learning to swim without touching the lane lines anymore! 💪🏊‍♀️

It’s easy to focus on times and ribbons, but stories like Lilly’s remind us that some of the biggest victories happen long before the finish line. Every practice builds confidence, every meet creates memories, and every teammate becomes part of the journey.

We’re so proud of you, Lilly, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to grow both in and out of the pool! 💙🌊

Just a reminder that team and individual photos will take place this evening at Enochs

⏰ Please arrive by 5:15 PM
📸 Team Photo will be taken PROMPTLY at 5:30 PM on the pool deck

A few reminders to help everything run smoothly:

✅ Please have your photo order form completely filled out before arriving.
✅ If paying by cash or check, please have the exact amount enclosed in the envelope.
✅ If paying electronically, please be prepared to Venmo the photographer at the time of your swimmer’s individual photos.
✅ It is going to be a warm afternoon, so please bring water, an umbrella, or other sun protection while waiting for photos.

📍 When you arrive, please line up outside the fence along the fence line. A board member will provide further instructions once we are ready to begin.

Thank you all for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep the photo process moving efficiently. We can’t wait to capture another great season of Modesto Mavericks memories! 💙
