Menopause doesn’t just change a woman’s hormones.
It often changes how she sees herself.
Some women slowly begin defining themselves by:
the weight gain,
the exhaustion,
the brain fog,
the clothes that no longer fit,
and the reflection they no longer recognize.
And once identity changes…
Everything changes.
Because the woman who says:
“I’m old now.”
moves differently than the woman who says:
“This is my third act, and I’m just getting started.”
Years ago, I had a client tell me:
“Doc, I don’t even feel like the main character in my own life anymore.”
That sentence stayed with me.
Because menopause is not supposed to be the ending of the story.
It can become the beginning of the wisest, healthiest, strongest, most disciplined version of yourself.
But only if you stop defining yourself by your symptoms.
In this week’s article, I write about menopause and identity:
how the way you define yourself quietly shapes your hormones, discipline, weight, habits, and ultimately your future.
If you are a woman who feels like she has somehow disappeared inside her own body…
This article was written for you.
