A friendly reminder the Twin Oaks Sporting Clays will be closed this weekend. We will however be open the next 2 weekends for all your shotgun shooting fun. We will be closed again the weekend of September 19-20. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Today at Twin Oaks Sporting Clays one of the members of the Stew-Stras Shooting Comets who usually shoots s***t came out to try his hand at trap and on his second round of trap with a new gun. Shot a perfect score of 25. Congratulations to Tate Durdel and keep up the good work.

Twin Oaks Sporting Clays schedule for the next few weekends. We will be open this weekend. We will be closed August 29th and 30th. Open September 5th and 6th and September 12th and 13th. Closed September 19th and 20th. Then open again on September 26th and 27th. We will post these again as the weeks go by. We have alot of personal stuff going on this year and needed to be closed. We hope that everyone understands. We have more dates in October as well but will post them later.

Good afternoon everyone. Unusual post for a Friday evening. Wanted to get it out there. If you are looking for something to do this weekend, I am going to be running a special on sporting clays at Twin Oaks Sporting Clays. A round of sporting clays and 4 boxes of 12 guage ammo for $85. We hope to see you this weekend.

Got some new hardware to put up at Twin Oaks Sporting clays. A collaboration of some of our shooters from The Stew-Stras Shooting Comets and the CHBC Clay Bustin Bobcats went to the Aim Grand Nationals and took 3rd squad in the singles championship. Congratulations to Ely, Gage, Stran, Braxton, and Adam. You make us proud.

Good morning everyone. Well it has been a crazy morning already. Had to pull a couple of traps yesterday to work on them. One needed a complete wiring replacement and the other took some troubleshooting to figure out that the cord going to the trap from the battery had a bad spot in it. Got them bench tested after the repair and was waiting on installing them this morning. Got to the first station that I needed to reinstall the trap and shut off the gator while I installed it. Got it installed and adjusted, then got on the gator and the battery was dead. So I had to go back on foot to the clubhouse to get a set of jumper cables to jump start it. Luckily I had a spare battery in the bed of the gator in case a trap needs one and jump started it. Went over to the other station to install the second trap and out of habit I shut it off again instead of letting it run. So when I got done installing the trap I had to rejump start the gator again. So it looks like after closing today I am going to make a trip to town to get a new battery.
Well after all that the doors are open and the coffee is ready. Next weekend we will be open. We have a few things going on in August we need to be closed for August 15 and 16 we will be closed and August 29th and 30th we we will closed as well.

Just a reminder that Twin Oaks Sporting Clays will be closed this weekend as we are in Mason Michigan with our High School shooting teams the CHBC Clay Bustin Bobcats and the Stew-Stras Shooting Comets as they compete in the National Championship.
