⚾️ Progress Update at Davie County Little League! ⚾️

We’re excited to share another look at the incredible progress being made on our new shelter at the Davie County Little League complex!

This addition will provide much-needed shade and protection for our players, families, volunteers, and fans throughout the season. It’s been amazing to watch this project come together, and we’re one step closer to creating an even better experience for everyone who calls DCLL home.

A huge thank you to all of the volunteers, supporters, sponsors, and community members who continue to invest in the future of Davie County Little League. Your support helps us improve our facilities and provide a first-class environment for our young athletes.

Stay tuned for more updates as construction continues. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying this new space soon!

⚾️ Exciting Improvements Coming to the Davie Youth Complex! ⚾️

We’re excited to see continued investments being made at the Davie Youth Complex to help enhance the experience for our players, families, coaches, and visitors.

These additions and improvements reflect a shared commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for youth sports in our community. Every upgrade helps create a better experience for the hundreds of children and families who use the complex throughout the year.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making these improvements possible. Community support and partnerships like these help ensure that youth athletics continue to thrive in Davie County.

Today we celebrate the incredible girls and young women who step onto the softball field with determination, courage, and heart. Softball is more than just a game, it’s a place where athletes build confidence, learn leadership, create lifelong friendships, and discover just how strong they are.

Softball has been played for over 135 years and continues to empower millions of girls and women around the world through sports.

🌟 Celebrating Our Softball All-Stars! 🌟

While we were unable to field a team for this year’s All-Star Tournament due to player availability and scheduling commitments, we still wanted to recognize the incredible athletes who were selected as All-Stars this season.

These girls had the opportunity to come together for a special All-Star Game within our league, playing alongside teammates they had competed against all season. It was a wonderful display of teamwork, sportsmanship, and a shared love for the game.

We are so proud of each of these young ladies for their hard work, dedication, and positive attitude throughout the season. Their growth as players and teammates has been exciting to watch, and we know this is only the beginning of what they can accomplish on and off the field.

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of them as they continue to learn, grow, and pursue the sport they love.

We would like to clarify that our league is incredibly proud of all our players, both baseball and softball. Our previous post was to highlight our baseball All-Star team as they are representing our league at the District Tournament.

Unfortunately we did not have any other teams participating in the tournament this year. However, our softball players were recognized through an All-Star game, and we are very proud of their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the season.

We are currently waiting for permission from parents before sharing photos of our softball All-Stars on our page. Once we have received the necessary approvals, we look forward to celebrating and recognizing these athletes as well.

Thank you for your support of all our players and for helping us continue to encourage and celebrate every child in our league.

All games, practices, and league activities scheduled for today have been canceled.

Due to wet field conditions from the recent rain, all Davie County Little League fields will be closed today.

The fields are currently too wet for safe play, and we want to do our part to protect the playing surfaces as well.
