What another blessed weekend for the 15th Annual Jerry & Norman LEGENDS event. In TOP Eliminator it came down to a coin flip between Mooresville, NC’s Lauren Freer and Yadkinville, NC’s Brandon Hutchens as the 12 o’ clock curfew had to be called. So former JR Dragster champion Lauren Freer in her Right Trailer Sales Dragster won the coin toss for the trailer check over Hutchens in his “Drifter too” Dodge Dart. Will Dotson and Robert Vogler III were the semi-finalist.
Chris Plott of Winston-Salem, NC drove his Tommy Plott racing Ford Mustang to a second straight Farm FOOT Brake win defeating the reigning champion Ernie Humes III of Troutman, NC in his A-1 Mobile Marine Ford Mustang. Plott got win number two by .001ths MOV over the 9x champ Humes. Justin Holtson and Brian Yerger, Jr was semi-finalist.
In the CCRA Super Stock and Stock racing action Minneapolis, MN’s Greg Viscome drove his Carmel Ford Mustang to the win over Stacie Riding in her Lil’ Aggravation Chevy Camro. Mt. Airy, NC’s Tanner Haitt was the lone semi-finalist.
Reigning CCMP Champion Robbie Draughon drove his Redline Speed Shop/ RDED Chevy Corvette to the Modified Production victory of former champion Steve Johnson in his Chevy Nova. Also, Brad Smith drove the late Gary Mckee’s Day Dreamer Chevy Corvette to the rain delayed race win over Darrion Houston in his Chevy Camaro.
Tristan Brown drove his Right Trailer Sales Dragster to the JR Dragster win over Virginia’s Payton Thomas. Valerie Wright and Dylan Paschal were the semi-finalist.
Cliff Green of Wilmington, NC drove the family’s Chevy Vega to the PRO Tree Eliminator win over Denver, NC’s Scott DeLuca, Sr. in his Ford Fairmont.
Second generation racer Nathan Dowlass of Tobaccoville, NC drove his Chevy Camaro to the Street class win over Winston-Salem, NC’s David Koch in his Mercedes.
Mocksville, NC’s Hunter Alexander picked up Teen win number three defeating Clemmons, NC’s Cody Perryman.
In the special Legends Race of Champions for former Farm Champions it was Kelly Stevens of Bostic, NC defeated Tyler Nelson of Clemmons, NC.

Sunday’s Legends action had the rain win out in the end in TOP, Foot Brake and JR Dragster classes.
Here’s the remaining drivers left in action.
TOP Eliminator- Gavin Whisnant, Robert Vogler III, Hayden Lambert, Tennille Baker and Tim Church.
Foot Brake- Jeff Flood, Kelly Stevens, Joe Tilley and Jacob Ritchie.
JR Dragster – Camden Hull, Weston Losko and Gunner Abernethy.
Street- Kevin Winebarger defeated Larry Hollifield
Teens- Cody Perryman defeated Emma Koch
CCRA- Charlie Wisecarver over Kelsey Alexander

The 15th Annual Jerry Joyce and Norman Drouillard, Sr. LEGENDS of the Farm weekend is set for AUGUST 22, 23, 24 at Farmington Dragway. Wall of Fame Ceremonies on Saturday, AUGUST 23, @ 2 PM at the track.
Being inducted into the 2025 Jerry & Norman Wall of Fall will be the following folks...
Michael Martin- Top Sportsman and Quick 8 Pro Mod Racer
Darrell Collins -former TOP Champion and and the Collins Family (Larry and Jimmy former racers) and Sandy Collins- Track manager
Eddie Combs- former Farm Foot Brake champion
Bill & Cathy Hull- Bracket & Stick Shift family racing
Ham Smith & Rodney McCurdy- former Super Stock class racers
Vernon Brown- former Farm Motorcycle champion
Mike Phillips- Long time Farm supporter and racer
Satch Gragg- former IHRA official and racer

Don't forget our annual Race of Champions for all former Farmington Dragway (and also any FARM Team Finals) Champions on Saturday, August 24th. Must compete in a "Street Legal" car/truck 7.99 and slower.
Plus...will salute all former Farmington Dragway CHAMPIONS in attendance on the starting line around 2 PM.

Hey the forecast is for great weather for the this weekend's 14th Annual Jerry Joyce and Norman Drouillard, Sr. LEGENDS of the FARM 3 day event.
Gets kicked off on Friday Night, AUGUST 23rd- Test-N-Tune, Street and Motorcycle races, Foot Brake Gamblers and Tag Team races.
Saturday, AUGUST 24th- will induct Dale Brinsfield, Bubba Turner, Michael Trivette, Jimmie & Anne Flynt, Johnny McGuirt, Chris Eades, Bobby Smith and Robert "Dobber" Whitaker into the 2023/2024 Jerry & Norman Wall of Fame @ 2 pm. PLUS...tons of racing action on the track with CCRA Super Stock & Stock and CCMP Modified Production cars and stars. Along with FARM WDRA Points Series racing with TOP, Foot Brake, JR Dragster, Street and Teens. Also...the favorite Pro Tree Eliminator is back along with our annual Race of Champions classes. Will also have special Quick Times Triple "0" awards and decals in memory of the Becky White both days.
Sunday, AUGUST 25th- will wrap up the weekend with the FARM WDRA Points Series racing with TOP, Foot Brake, JR Dragster, Street and Teens. PLUS...all classes winner's will received special WDRA Rod Trophies !
