On the last race of the 2025 season, I happened to look over Raven when we were about to go into Rd1 (we had already made 2 qual passes) and saw white lines on 2 of the 5 spokes on my front wheels. Upon further inspection, these were cracks that broken through completely. Once I got the car home and unloaded, I inspected the back of the rim... all 5 spokes had cracked, just 3 of them didnt come all the way through. It could have turned into a really bad day. Chevy Floyd came by and told me he had a wheel that he wasnt gonna use anymore and gave it to me. Same type, so big shoutout to Chevy and team, I really appreciate it.

Well, the MadDawg 4.50 race did not go our way. We hurt the motor a little on the final pass. We started having motor issues on the last 4.70 race we attended. We thought we had fixed it, but it let on the big end on Saturday. We may be able to get back out there this year, but its doubtful.

America's Fast Door Car Series is ready to attack the Farm Saturday, JUNE 28th, with the running of the KCI Telecommunications MAD DAWG 4.50's at Farmington Dragway. Will we see more records set at this pre-4th Mad Dawg event and maybe another new winner?

Finally getting around to updating the page about this weekend. MadDawg 4.50 was a great time this weekend. Raven was printing tickets like never before. We qualified 2nd to teammate Timothy Siler in the Studebaker with a 4.501. The air was fantastic for racing and every time I put the tune in, Raven dropped a perfect 4.50 pass (except Q2 and everyone slowed down a bit). Anyways, my lights were pretty decent and day was going well until Rd2 when came up against JP Miller in Skull Crusher. He lit his top bulb, I lit mine... he lit his bottom bulb, I lit mine and there is where everything fell apart in my brain. For some reason I didn't go straight onto the gas and by the time I snapped out of it and floored it, the "Go lights" lit and I was .2903 reaction time late. My crew chief asked me if my coffee was good, I told him it went well with the sandwich I was making while on the starting line. I was disappointed in myself as I felt like it was my race to lose in how Raven was working, BUT, you gotta let those go as they are in the past and I cant change it now. Bad part was, I ran a 4.503 to his 4.65... gotta stay focused!

What a amazing turning out for the Youker Motorsports Mad Dawg Springpalooza and Farm/WDRA Points Race action. The Farm was blessed with great weather (no Rain) and a record total car count of 310 entries.
Picking up his first Mad Dawg 4.50 victory out of 19 dawg entries was J.P. Miller of Waynesboro, VA in his “Skull Crusher” Wilkins Powered Chevy Beretta over Hernshaw, WV’s Jay Kirk in his ’68 Chevy Camaro. The reaction times was nothing to brag about as both finalist was late at the tree. Kirk had the better light but got beat out with Miller’s 4.5057 ET @ 155 MPH run to nip the Chris Cline Race Cars Camaro in the lights.
The regaining Mad Dawg Champion Tim West of Asheville, NC put in his best performance of the year with a great semi-finals finish in his Fulton powered Jim West & Sons ’63 Chevy Corvette.
Taking the Garry”Hooter” Hoots #1 qualifying honors was Tim Siler of Maiden, NC in his Siler Motorsports 1950 Studebaker with a great -.0005 off the 4.50 index mark run.
Mr. Showtime Siler would make it to the quarter-finals were Kirk ended his charge.
The “GunSlinger” Andy Beal would be the other quarterfinalist in his all motored Beal Racing Engines ’63 Chevy Corvette.
The James “MF” Bunton Memorial Burn Out King Award winners was 2021 Dawg Champ Chad Tilley in his TnT Express Chevy Beretta in Round one and new Dawg racer Eddie Smith, Jr in his beautiful ’68 Chevy Camaro in round two of qualifying.
Marty Hurd in his “Raven” ’68 Chevy Camaro picked up the Chris Leonard “Best Winning Package” award in round one and Tim West in his TM build Corvettet was the round two winner,
Oak Ridge, NC’s Mike Westmoreland in his Ford Mustang and Winston-Salem, NC’s Chad Tilley in his Chevy Beretta were the MJ’s Closest Run of Race winner in round one.

The curfew caught the TOP and Foot Brake classes but here’s who was left in the running for the win.
Out of 142 TOP Eliminator entries it came down to Nick Smith, Ernie Humes III, Tommy Plott, Jamie Holston and Steven Morrison for the split.
Foot Brake had Virginia’s Tim Douglas, Gray Kimble and Adam Ellis the remaining racers out of the 90 some Foot Brakers on hand.
We were able to get the JR Dragster, Street and Teen Racer classes completed before time was up.
A pair of Virginia racers made up the JR Dragster finals with Forest Radford picking up the win over Colin Holston. Picking up the Street victory was the Convertible Chevy Camaro of Pfafftown, NC’s Nathan Dowless over 2024 Street Champ Matt Naves, Jr in his Honda from Salisbury, NC. Third generation racer Cody Perryman of Clemmons, NC scored his first Farm Teens class win of the year defeating new Teen racer Emma Koch of Winston-Salem, NC.
Big thanks you to all the Racers, Crews and Fans that made it out for this record setting day of drag racing at Farmington Dragway. Hats off to our hardworking track crew couldn’t do without you !
Next drag race is the Race Against Cancer this Friday & Saturday, JUNE 6-7 and the Next Mad Dawg 4.50 is scheduled for Saturday, JUNE 28th, the KCI Telecommunications Americapalooza and FARM/WDRA Points race.

Saturday was a great day of shaking off the cobb website of getting back behind the wheel of Raven. We had all 3 cars onsite... The Studabaker, The Falcon and Raven. After Q1 Crew Chief Chris Siler had all 3 cars in the top 10 out of 18 heavy hitters. Tim won the burnout contest and Roger proved that in 3 passes, The Falcon would run a 4.50. I won the best winning pkg for Rd1. Roger and Time went out Rd1, I went out Rd2 to Chevy Floyd. He had a .007 reaction time to my .0007 reaction time, but I couldn't get ol Raven slowed down to take the win. I ran a 4.48 to Chevy's perfect 4.50. All in all it was a good day of racing and hanging out with the team and other racers. We look forward to a great season with everyone.

Whew, it's been awhile since I posted on this page... sorry about that! What a year for the 4.70 series and 4.50 series. I didn't find myself in the winners circle this year, but I absolutely learned alot. We had Tim Siler join the team this year at a few races and we finally got the Falcon on track and race ready with Roger Campbell driving it and winning the final 4.70 race this year. We are pushing Chris Siler hard with 3 cars to crew chief, but in his words, he wouldn't rather be doing anything else. Now it's time to tear them apart, fix the issues and get them ready to hit the track in 2025. If you need your race car worked on, there's Siler Racing and Fabrication... if you need parts or chassis powdercoated, there's MadMax Powdercoating. Thanks to everyone that's a fan of Raven, I try really hard to park this bad boy in the winners circle every race and I'm looking forward to the 2025 season.
