I hope everyone has had an opportunity this hunting season to get out into the field and enjoy some friendships and the beautiful outdoors God created. Although I did not draw a rifle tag this year I was able to get out with my dad, Jeff Piatt , to fill his tag the other day on this nice mature public land Muley. Fun times!

This was a very fun custom project! A bit of a challenge to put a Whitetail and Mule Deer together on one pedestal and maintain an artistic composition while still distinguishing the species. I thought it'd be neat to do a sort of dirt cut bank pedestal to incorporate some of the memories of the terrain/our western SD habitat into the piece. They are both West River public land bucks harvested back to back days!

I will not be taking any European mounts this season. I apologize for the inconveniences this may be to all of you, but life is just to busy right now. We hope you all are enjoying the hunting seasons so far. I can forward you on to some other places to do your skulls or I'd be glad to walk you through the process if you want to try it on your own.
