🥎INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT🥎
👊We are SUPER EXCITED to announce the addition of Maddie Porter to our player development staff! Coach Porter is a dedicated softball player and instructor who brings a passion for the game, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for athlete development to every lesson.
🏫 A graduate of D’Iberville High School, Maddie was a key contributor for the Warriors throughout her high school career, helping lead the program to deep postseason runs while establishing herself as a versatile and reliable player. During her senior season, she hit over .360 and was among the team’s offensive leaders, while also playing a critical role in several playoff victories.
🎓 Following high school, Maddie continued her softball career at Itawamba Community College, where she spent the past two seasons competing at the collegiate level. Recent collegiate performances included key offensive contributions in the lineup for ICC finishing with a batting average of .413. Maddie was a key player defensively whether that was playing shortstop or catching behind the plate.
🥎 Her experience competing at both the high school and collegiate levels allows her to connect with young athletes while helping them build confidence, strengthen fundamentals, and develop a strong softball IQ
